| Alice and Mabel Lee Asa Memorial Scholarship | The Alice and Mabel Lee Asa Memorial Scholarship was created by Leland Asa, one of the early TWU faculty members. Leland, a professor at TWU in the beginning of the Trinity Junior College years, was dean of the first faculty & Professor of Psychology. Leland’s award is given in memory of his wife Alice and his mother Mabel. Award available to students who have demonstrated leadership consistent Christian testimony and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. Must demonstrate financial need. | 2000 | 4 |
| Alumni Legacy Scholarship | Award available to children and grandchildren of TWU Alumni with assessed financial need. Two students from each grade year (e.g. sophomore) will be chosen to receive this award a maximum of one time during their studies.
ACTION REQUIRED: Applicants must submit a 500 word essay answering the questions: Tell us your family's TWU story, including who in your family has attended TWU and the year they graduated, why you chose to study at TWU, the difference TWU is making in your life, and how you hope to carry your TWU story forward. Essays can be emailed to awards@twu.ca by April 1. Applications and essays will be reviewed and recipients selected by the Alumni Award Committee. Recipients and their stories may be used for promotion in various Alumni related communications and may be contacted by the Alumni Awards Committee for more information. | 2000 | 14 |
